Up next on my soft, springy colors to try is Illamasqua Jan, a dusty pink-mauve creme:

Picture taken in sunlight. This applied very well in only two coats. Lighter creme colors like this tend to have a streaky, three-coat application; I don’t know how Illamasqua pulls off such a smooth formula. The color looks so soft, flowery and perfectly dusty. The shade falls somewhere between pink and mauve but ultimately looks more pink than purple. It’s a demure-looking type of color, but with its solid opacity it still has a strong presence on the nail. I paired this with OPI Stranger Tides on my toes.
