I had my pick of polishes to wear over this holiday weekend, but I ultimately chose China Glaze Glittering Garland (Let it Snow, Holiday 2011), a rich forest green with yellow-green microglitter:

Picture taken in sunlight.  Although slightly cuticle draggy, it applied well and I got full coverage in two coats.  I’m glad I chose this to wear on Christmas; it’s gorgeous!  The goldish yellow-green microglitter lights up the rich, deep forest green base, giving the color an overall warmer tone.  It looks totally luxe and velvety.  I just love the look of microglitter sparkling in a deeply-colored base.  The concept isn’t new but it makes a beautiful and unique enough polish anyway.  I paired this with OPI Smitten with Mittens on my toes.
