I was so pleased with the finish of Glitter Envy that I wanted to try more of the polishes from this collection right away. Color Club Wink, Wink Twinkle (Starry Temptress, Summer 2011) is a neon purple packed with holographic glitter:
Picture taken in natural light. Despite its thickness, I had no application problems. I got full coverage in two coats. Again, the holographic quality of the glitter doesn’t really come out but it still looks awesome in its own way. I love how you can see just how densely packed the glitter is, even though it isn’t sparkly. The color is your typical neon purple. It’s not particularly glowy but since there are so many out there in this shade I’ve come to associate this bright, borderline fuchsia-like color with “neon purple.” I guess it’s not the type of color to lend itself to that retina-searing glow, but it is bright and pigmented. I paired this with Milani Hi-Res on my toes.

This is such a cute colour! Is it smooth or did you feel bumps from the glitter?

After topcoat it’s not completely smooth like a creme or anything, but it’s not annoyingly bumpy like some dense glitters can be. I’d say it’s relatively smooth, especially for the type of finish it has.
