I was in the mood for something truly stark, so I put on American Apparel Summer Peach (Summer 2010), a pale pastel peach creme:
Picture taken in natural light. The formula was nicely thick and pigmented, a little runny but still manageable. I used three coats, but the third was only needed to cover up some minor, minor streaking I still had at two. After everything was smoothed out with topcoat, the result was a very opaque, stark finish. It stands out so much; I love it! The color is so whited-out that it borders on neutral, but it’s clearly peach. (I wish I had sun for the picture; I’m sure the light would have brought out the peachy tones.) It’s like a peach version of buttercup. I paired this with Essie Tart Deco on my toes.
