Here is the second of the Ilamasqua pastels I’ll be wearing this month.  After seeing how well Illamasqua’s regular and neon yellows applied, I was really looking forward to trying their pastel yellow.  Illamasqua Blow (Pastel Nail Varnishes, Spring 2010) is a pastel buttercup yellow creme:

Picture taken in sunlight.  The formula did not disappoint!  Though I still needed three coats, it went on smoothly and was quite easy to control.  The color is so pretty, too.  It’s stark, which is a quality I like in pastels, but it’s not so whited-out that it looks chalky.  The color and the depth of finish make this polish look so bright and creamy!  It reminds me of fuzzy, adorable baby chicks. 🙂  I paired this with Sephora by OPI What a Broad on my toes.
