Closing in on the halfway point of the Aussie Open, I’ve been focusing on the colors from Novak Djokovic’s kits.  I thought it was time to wear a color from a kit of one of my other favorite players: Fernando Verdasco.  His shirt is a bright, eye-catching shade of warm neon pink.  (His friend and fellow Spaniard — and another favorite of mine — Feliciano Lopez also wore a different shade of neon pink, but lost in the second round. :() Color Club Warhol (Poptastic, Spring 2010) is an orangey-pink neon creme:

Picture taken in sunlight.  This applied well, although I needed three coats to make it look opaque and even.  The photo doesn’t reflect just how bright it is, because it is bright.  And really glowy.  I love when a neon has that ultra-bright, glowing quality, so I love this!  I also adore the color.  It’s not a typical neon pink; it’s a much warmer.  It’s such a shock for me to see neon on my nails this time of year, but it is summer in Australia, after all.  Pink is jokingly considered a color of doom on the men’s tour (think Rafa Nadal at Roland Garros 2009), but it seems to be working well for Fer!  He came within match points of being knocked out of the tournament a few days ago, but was able to make a comeback.  Since one of the accessory colors on his kit is green, I paired this with Sally Hansen Spring Green (Insta-Dri) on my toes.
